For clients who want this discipline permanently: every vendor that cold-pitches you gets forwarded to us and screened. Every renewal gets negotiated by someone who knows the vendor's floor. Every "should we buy this?" gets answered before you sign — not after.
Every source of information you have is paid to sell you.
It's your job to run operations — not to evaluate six vendors in every category on top of it. Your time is better spent elsewhere. Your leverage is limited: you hear one polished pitch at a time, with no way to compare, and every rep who reaches your inbox is compensated to make their tool look like the answer.

The gap between vendors.
Two tools that do essentially the same job for your business often differ in price by two times or more. One line of our comparison — this vendor delivers what you need at $800 a month per location; that one charges $2,000 for the same outcome — can be worth six figures a year to a multi-location group.
The gap inside one vendor.
List prices are opening offers, not real prices. Most vendors will discount 15–30% for a buyer who knows how to push — and almost no one on the buying side knows what a good price looks like. We do, because we watched the discount approval process from the inside for 8 years. We find their floor before you make your first counter.
You only pay in full when we've shown you the money.
Every engagement ends with an itemized savings table — every dollar documented, with the math shown. Half our fee is due up front. The other half is only ever due if that table documents at least twice our total fee in savings or avoided costs. If we haven't shown you the money, you don't owe it. We can only be paid in full by delivering more than we cost.

Harper was founded by Quinton Barnett, who spent years selling technology into healthcare organizations — most recently managing mid-market healthcare accounts at LinkedIn, working with dental groups, veterinary organizations, hospital systems, medical device companies, and health-tech startups. He built Harper on a simple observation: buyers deserve one advisor in the room whose incentives point the same direction theirs do.
